Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and I have been thinkin about getting a bike. Will probably do so in a couple weeks.

Anyway, the wife and I checked out RedRock Canyon last time we went to vegas. It's about 10-15 minutes NW of vegas and it's a pretty cool drive once you get past the residential areas and actually get to the desert part. The national park area Redrock, (costs $5.00 per vehicle, don't remember the cost for bikes) would be an awesome place to take a group photo! Lots of twisties inside the park but of course, they have a speed limit since there are alot of tourists that stop anywhere on the road to take pics.

If I end up getting the bike, I would love to ride out with you guys. I haven't been to Vegas in a while. I've been riding since I was 10 (KD80) so hopefully, I will be confident and comfortable enough to take the trip.

I'm near the 605/5 fwy.

stang, welcome to the forums. hurry up and get your bike. im doing a freeway speed run sunday, you can join. or when your ready, let me know and ill give you a few names and places to go get a price on a bike. im at the 605/405
