Cabling the bikes together is the best way, and a couple cables and locks that can be carried in the trunk will work.
i have some thick cables i used to lock up my quads when were out in the desert. a little to big to go in the trunk but if need be ill wear them around my neck or something. ill probley pack my spare disk lock as well incase someone needs it.
wassup fellers???? lol
Hey, I have not booked a hotel room yet. I was planning on doing so on moday this week. I kind of have it narrowed down to three different hotels. El Cortez, Four Queens, The Plaza.. All three of these are on Freemont street. 2 miles from the strip. I have checked on the strip, and the best price hotel there is $80 a night, which is at the Sahara, but they are sold out for our weekend. Any Hotel that is downtown or on the strip. do not have in room parking... The closest place for grounf level rooms, at a decent price, and a decent hotel that's not filled with crack ****** is at the airport 12 miles away.
Today, I am going to call around to the hotels up there, and ask about bike parking, security around the bikes, and a group buy special type thing. Does anyone have any specail needs???? NO, I will not give back rubs!!! ha ha ha ha ha.... I guess what I need is a rough head count, so I can get a coporate rate or group buy special price. I am personally leaning towrads El Cortez. It's on Freemont, rught around the corner from La Plaza, and the four queens. All three hotels are ranked 3 star, which is pretty good. The only bad thing I could find on Reviews for the El Cortez is: The ventilation in their 80,000 sq ft casino is not real good. So the casino is smoky. Besides that, they have the best prices, and awesome customer reviews.

Hell ya bro..NP.
The four queens, El Cortez, and the Plaza all have structured parking garages. They are not safe or garded. I am supposed to call back monday and speak with the Hotel manager at the El Cortez and see about accomodations for our bike parking. The guy at the reservations counter did not think it would be a problem to have special "up front" parking for us.
About the only other hotel that has a rate I am willing to pay and is located close enough to the strip, is The Stratosphere. They do have garaged parking that is secured, according to the lady on the phone. They have plenty of rooms available. On the website it is $95.00 a night. If you ask the lady at the counter on the phone, it is $129.00 a night. The El Cortez is $59.00 a night online, $69.00 a night on phone, plenty of rooms also.
SO, I am leaning towrds the Strat, just for the secured parking. I will call some more and see what I can find out. I plan on making reservations this Monday. So far, there are no extra discounts for multiple room purchases[:@], the corporate rate is higher on phone than the online rate regular. Go figure. The Strat does give a military discount of 10%, but it only applies to the room the military person is staying in. And no, previous Military does not count, I tried. When I call MOnday to the El Cortez, I will post what the Manager tells me about the "special" parking we require.
TX, chu got mail man.
