yeea lol thats what i thought you meant ns, so one person total has showed up to vegas, and thats dragone, i hung out with him for a little while, went to primm, then i had to drive back into vegas and of course, it starts raining, supposed to be crappy weather tomorrow to...looks like everyone that didnt show up aint gonna miss out on much, lol.

 

Yeah man that bits the big one... It almost rained here as well, a little mist here and there. Its going to rain tonight and tomorrow as well. I wish we all could have made this trip, but sh-t happens. One of these days we will get together. All I can say this time is to do it on the spur of the moment so we can do it... This trip was planned to far advanced and gave to much time for the sh-t to happen lol.

I think I'm on the late shift wednesday. ****ty. No tats yet but I've got many an idea for some. I think I'm off this weekend.

 

cool, no time like the present to start. i have to pick up where i left off and finally finish mine.

 

Drizzled on me for maybe a minute around Goldfield, NV and the wind was pretty strong at moments also(got written up for speeding). Drizzled again when I hit Vegas but still maybe only lasted less than 5 minutes.

Hooked up with Uned as he already mentioned. Was good riding over to Primm except for the terrible traffic! Uned headed back to Vegas while I headed back to my room. When Uned called me up about 1 1/2hrs later, he mentioned that he got dumped on big time! I look out my window just to see clouds and fortunately no rain in Primm. I am trying to figure out what it will be like tomorrow and what plans that I could make between the weather forcast and Uned had to work.

While putting my ride away in the car garage (was told a heavy storm was coming in), more riders were coming in. Of course they got drizzled on coming in from CA. I found out that there was going to be a poker run Sat. morning at Buffallo Bills right across the hwy. concerning a charity for kids. I am thinking Right On!

At around 2100hrs, the lightning and thunder show started. The thunder was loud enough to vibrate windows and my bed at 0400hrs.

Hauled my **** out of bed at 0730hrs and looked out the window to see standing water everywhere with it still raining. I think hmm, this sucks. After getting ready for the ride, and after two cups of coffee, I check outside again. Sun is coming out! WhooHoo!

I get the ride warmed up and noticed that the people I had talked with about this run, their rides are still parked! I say screw them, and solo it again to Buffallo Bills. The guy at the gate looks at me then at my ride and says "what rally are you here for?, The Race on the Flat Beds or the poker run?" My ears perked when he mentioned a race, so I ask what race and where! He told me in what the general location would be. I go in the general location as mentioned which led me to a dirt road and mud everywhere! Told myself, there is no way! Seen a couple of race car trailers nearby and some quads close to me in the parking lot so went and asked what was happening. Was told that the race was the Baja's coming through. Crap!

I went back and signed up for the Poker Run! While scoping out the rides that were there and the custom cars, I hooked up with a couple of riders from San Bernardino for some riding. Did I mention that a Green Kawasaki zx 10r really stands out in a crowd of cruisers? Actually, so did my white and blue one piece leathers with sliders amongst the crowd! lol Everyone there was cool and we all just wanted to ride.

100 miles later, 5 stops for our cards, some pics, and we were back at Buffallo Bills.

So back at camp of the two riders that I cruised with, the other members of the group were there. The campfire stories, jokes, beer, spirits and food started! Along with 3 roller coaster rides, one daylight ride, one rain ride at night, then one last ride at night when the rain stopped. We put the retired sheriff in the back in case he pucked! lol

So after some more pics (no bare shots), some more friends added to my list, and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas stuff. I thought this Vegas run turned out great.

No tickets on the way back home! Hit up the Reno/Fernley track day on my way home for 2 1/2 hrs of spectacting only. (Oh, the weather was fantastic all the way back.)

Sounds like ya had a blast Drag... Glad it turned out ok for ya, cause I felt a little bad after I said I'm not making it. Damb I wish I could of made it. My friends funeral was Sat. I didnt go didnt want to see him like that.... Feeling down I didnt want to take the rest of my weekend off I went back to work this morn. There was suppose to be a ride for him this afternoon, but I will do a ride for him later. I have monday off I think I'll drop some flowers off and say a few words in prayer at his crash site. I love ya bro, you'll never be forgotten... rip Nazar Kitch
