HAHA... not from here, but ill be on less....

Im getting a new job, putting my two weeks in today. Going from a civil engineering firm to a water and wastewater products company.

Make the same amount and only work 40 hrs a week instead of 55-60... plus its closer to home. and i wont have to put up with the bull **** here...

Ha, Ha, Ha......I did the same thing about 1.5 years ago. 12+ years working the environmental engineering consulting biz. I switched to a air pollution control manufacturer, wow what a difference, 40 hrs/week is the norm not the exception.

I actually laugh when coworkers complain about havin to put in a little extra time and they figure they should get to leave a little early the next day. I try to tell they they have no idea!!!!! One guy actually quit a little while ago to go work for a consulting firm....I tried to warn him to no avail.

BTW...NO MORE BILLABLE HOURS!!!!! Woo Hooo.

Welcome to the mfg side of things ..... you will love it.
