No way, the 70's classic rocked...well..........................ROCKED!!!!
Remember some of the Album Covers? And hey, did anyone see a movie in the theatres called Heavy Metal? It was a cartoon.
Talk about being ahead of their time.
But In high school wood shop we cranked up Foreigner,Styx, The Police, Men at work, Van Halen, Cheap Trick and many others, it was a good time.
And like I have said before, if you are a fan of classic rock then dial the best radio station around onto your PCI promise you will love it. I listen to it all day in my office and in the shop and warehouse. Here is the link.

Don't need a pc to hear them. They are a local station out of san francisco. I'm not that old I was born in 80 but grew up on 80's music. The first movie I remember seeing in theathers was beetle juice

RE: Time machine
I used to love music from the 70's. But as time went on, and these same songs kept playing over and over on the radio, I have developed a real bitter after tasteof music from the 70's. Don't get me wrong, much of it was really good stuff, but there is only so many times you can hear "stairway to heaven" before you just want to take a stairway up the parking garage and jump off the roof.

I guess there is some truth to that, That's was funny. Hey don't pick on my avatar.[8D] Oh sweet you made me do a Google search for stairway to heaven and look what I found, I'm ordering it. I wonder if it comes in "HUGE"!!

I remember one of the best toys out during the 80's was the stomper 4x4's
my parents had to buy tons of AA batteries to put into all the ones that i had bought. http://stomper4x4.com/Images/moc1yellowdodge.jpg
Wish they still made some of the toys of the past they didn't make much but the toys kept you active inside the house and out
