Default Text or Call?

What do you do the most, and what is easier for you? Would you purchase a device which doesn't have a phone but has access to internet and Instant Messaging? Along with the other devices like picture taking and video making.

Say you wouldn't have a phone plan, it synch's to your internet provider, so you're pretty much just paying for internet use, no minutes or phone plans. Opinions/suggestions?

I'd call, not much into internet-on-the-go. Dude... you fell off the face of the planet for a while. Good to see you back!

i'm not really about the internet on the go either cause you have to pay alot to even be able to have a big enough screen to use the internet.

Text! The only way. I use it for work all the time. Don't have to have any chit chat. I just upgraded my phone and got a Centro. Can send and recieve my home e-mail on it also.

That stuff is too complicated for a simple redneck like myself. Hell, I didn't get my first cell phone until a year ago.

i like texting just because you don't get caught up in a long conversation unless you wanna be. and its cheaper than making phone calls

I do text from my cellphone when we have to sit in these boring azz briefings that last 6 hours. Great entertaining briefings about "Army Safety" and "Sexual Harrassment" and such
