I would like to get a sea turtle on my cafe but I have been saying that for 5 years.

 

That would be different! Any ideas on a design yet? Just curious - why a sea turtle?

 

Sea turtle, as far as I can remember and maybe “shon” can answer this, but the sea turtle in ancient Hawaii was said to be able to help you find your way when lost at sea. I have seen a few of them on people and they look real cool. The shell can have a lot of bitchen detail.
I also used to spend a lot of time in the water surfing and body boarding so it seemed appropriate at the time.

You do seem to be up on Hawaiian culture. Have you studied or did you use to live there?
