Well ladies and gents, i went to the dealership (non kawi one) to pick up a chain and i went over to an 2006 Gixxer 1000 and sat on her. Let me tell you that that bike is small and lighter (atleast it feels it) than my 636. I could touch flat foot with sneakers on. The bike felt really good. The riding position even feels better. If this wasnt a f'd up time in my life right now i must say i would own a gixxer 1000. I got him down to 10 g out the door. errrrrrrrrrrrrr i want it!!!!


ok ok before you rip me a new one, i just want to let you know that i have owned nothing but kawi sportbikes all my life.

I love kawi but,damn did the suzuki do a good job on the liter. Anyway theres no way in hell its gonna happen this yr so im gonna rip it up with my 636 and love every minute of it. So it looks like the future may hold a 636 track bike and gixxer street. dreams dreams dreams!!!!

 

why not a 10r ? just curious. hell if you like the gixxer, get it as long as your riding something. i wouldnt hate on you for turning gay but ill clown you every chance i get.

 

hey wait a minute!!! i never said nothing bout getting rid of my 636 lol I dont know if you sat on a 10r vs. a gixxer, but i have, and let me tell you, the gixxer feels much better. JMO

Anyway, no chance in hell of me getting it anytime soon, i just wanted to let every one know what i thought now i have no clue to how either rides, but im sure they are pretty close.

 

Hell just wait until 07 and Yamaha will be coming out blazing.

10K out the door is a good price too.

Go for the 14.. You wanna feel a bike there you go.. Comfort , Speed ,And Handling.. $400.00 more than the 10r..
