Even if I do get a bike, I don't have a garage. How am I supposed to store a bike? Any suggestions?

 

you hava a car port?.... chain and lock it, that's what i do....

Well, tell us about your living situation (house, apartment... if it's an apartment, what floor, etc....)?

 

It's my mom's house, no garage.. have access to a basement but it's very damp and I imagine that would hurt the bike. Can't store it inside the house anywhere, no room and my mom would flip.

if you have the cash to spare, you might want to rent a storage unit like a 6x10 or something... the thing about this is that you don't tell the people that your putting it in there... they might not like it with oil and fuel... or if you got a buddy with alot of extra room at his place, maybe he can help out a brotha....

 

Yeah I have a driveway.. my house is 211 years old guys gimme a break..

My friend said I could store a bike at his place (as he is also getting a bike).. but it's in his shed in the backyard with a dirt floor.. not sure if it's ok to store a bike for long periods of time in such conditions.

 

Just winterize it and you will be fine. Maybe get stands.

 

that sounds good just put it up on stands and buy a sheet of plywood to put over the dirt to keep moisture away.
