The reason for my post is because here in fresno the police give the import tuner cars no slack. They are pulling them over having us pop are hoods and looking for any type of mod. I've seen tickets for modified air intakes even the ones with a carb #. Whats up with that. Not only do we get a ticket, but sent to a smog ref. They say the reason for the crackdown is that the police dpt is trying to prove Fresno has a big enough problem with import racing, so they will receive a grant to fund a program strictly for street racing. I have no problem with that, if they ticketed the racers, not pulling us over just because the type of car we drive.

The best way to keep the po po off yur azz is leave all the
logos off the car .... I had a Tuner and left it w/ just paint
just a basic red color..... went for the stealth look.....

Not here in fresno... The are even pulling over factory tuned cars like the evo and wrx any and everything that looks like it has the slightest mod on it. Like I said before I wouldnt mind if they got the people who race on the streets not someone who likes to lower or put an exhaust on their import as long as it is street legal. Makes me wish I had my 5.0 back never had a issue then, and I had headers, h-pipe(off road type-no cats) and flowmasters along with a list of more performance goodies... loud as hell and never got pulled for it.
