I really like the older system of a down stuff. The last two albums they put out were ok but you could tell they were going in a diffrent direction. Then after the 2nd one was released they stated they were breaking up for creative diffrences or some such. Well the lead singer just released a new song about a week ago and it rocks. Its got that classic old system of a down sound to it. there is a video for the new single also

Never saw them live and now it will never happen. System broke up a few months ago. Serj is doing his own stuff now. I read he is going to doing a tour for his solo album. I will check a show i this area.

 

yeah check them out they do rock it sucks they split i enjoyed there music alot

 

they kinda sucked live, 2 venues, 2 different citys, same crap. they do rock tho.

 

yep...they suck in person...I worked security for them....I can name a lot of bands that sound excellent in person......but I still like System of A Down.....been a fan since about 1998/99

 

I know I'll catch hell for this ...but I'd rather shove an ice pick in my temple and smash my head off the wall countless times if I hear Serj yapping away.

 

Damn... I didn't know they broke up. Must have been very recently.

they broke up like 8 or so months ago it might have been longer. omalley to each their own there is nothung wrong with having diffrent tastes. i feel the same way about rage agenst the machine never liked them never will.
