Default scammed

I posted my bike online For Sale. This guy kept sending me emails, saying he was interested, wanted pics, and more info about the bike. So back and forth I send pics and more info. But the guy wont tell me were he is from. I never give out any personal info though. Then I get this email saying this friend owes him some $ so he will have the friend give me the $ for me to deposit and then send him the rest back. Are people really that STUPID? This is a Nigerian Scam. here is a copy of the email. The last email I had w/ the check from the friend got deleted.

Good to mail you, this is raymond i saw your advert on myspace.com,the 2005 ninja 250,i m interested in it,tell more about the condition of the offer, and maybe you can reduce the price, and if we can agree on a good price i will not mind getting it,hope to read from you.
Raymond"

and another email from him

"good to hear from you,i got the details of what you wanna sell,i will pay the $2100 and since you have given me your words on the condition,i will be okay by me.But you can send the pics of the offer to my email and i will send it to my anuty for proper look....but i will buy it,just get back to me with the mode of payment...and the full details of the name and address with phone number....hope to read from you.
Raymond"

It is amazing all the things scammers will try. If they invested that much trouble and time into their own business or a job, they would prob do pretty good for themselves.

Be cool to see ya on a 600.....

Good on ya for not falling for that, jayden. That's the classic, I give you a $5000 check for your $2100 item, you send me back $2900 in change, but three weeks later the $5k check bounces sky high and you're stuck with the bill.
