Default Saving Some $$$$

My car gets approximately 20 miles/gallon, and costs between $29-$32 on each fill up. I average one fill up per week with the car.

My bike gets approximately 65 miles/gallon, and costs between $9-$11 on each fill up. I average one fill up per week with the bike.

So far I haven't had to fill up the car in over a month, and there is still a quarter tank left. If I did not have the bike, I would have spent between $203-224 in the seven weeks I have been riding the Ninja. Riding the bike almost every day has cost me about $70 in the past seven weeks. I have saved around $150 in just over a month of riding the Ninja instead of driving my car.

I would hate to be a driver of an SUV, or truck with the cost of gas today. When I fill up the company truck, It costs more than $75 each time. How can people pay this much for their own vehicles? I also feel the less I give my hard earned $$$$$$ to OPEC, the better off we'll all be.

Hahaha... 65 miles per gallon is even on the low side of what my Ninja should be getting! I'm sure I'd get that extra 10 MPG if I wasn't always going WOT on it!

I get 8 mpg in the truck, 6 on the Big Truck, and High 20's on the bike, up to mid 30's, in Town depending on how I drive that particular week...lol

Dang, I guess I never added it up.. $150 a month you saved Mark? wow... If you look at it that way, it's like the oil companies are paying my future ZX14 payment! lol
