Default San Diego

Within the past 2 months two of my friends from San Diego have gotten their bikes stolen. One was inside a parking structure to his apartment and the other was in a parking lot at a market. I heard that its getting really hot in san diego so if any of you live there watch out for your bikes.

It's not theft-proof, but it does help...

They both had wheel locks but I guess the people that stole it just lifted the bikes...

Seeing how I live in an apartment I have that same on guard chain lock I use a long with two disk locks one for the rear rotor and one for the front. I know they can still steal the bike if they want to bad enough but at least it makes it harder for them.

I'm glad I have a garage. But of course, that only means so much.

Can't you put some anchors in the concrete and chain to that?

That sux to hear. Hopefully they have good insurance. There was a movie and guyswould pull up to bike with a small crane and just lift it right in to the back of the truck and go. That's scary.
