Default Riding in the snow, in the Da UP...

My dad just sent me this in messenger... I dunno... must be a Suzuki rider. Though I guess I can't say much - I would break out the bike and take a quick ride through town when I lived up there and the roads were clear...

Sparks says:
lol a guy just went by on a crotch rocket, lol it is 22 degrees wind chill of 8,, am sure the cold will keep him awake lol what a ride]

srobak says:
I hope you are kidding

srobak says:
with snow and salt on the ground...

Sparks says:
no, he just went by heading towards Little Lake lol

Sparks says:
some snow and sand and salt on roadways lol

srobak says:
jesus... how much snow on the ground? you sure it wasnt a snowmobile?

Sparks says:
we have maybe an inch, had some blowing snow and freezing rain early on in the evening, alot of bare trire tracks but some snow andsand has been put down

srobak says:
you sure it wasnt a snowmobile?

Sparks says:
yup it was a crotch rocket for sure lol

Sparks says:
guess he wants to get his last ride in lol heading south maybe lol

Those are the real hard core guys out there, probably a few screws loose too. Maybe it was his only ride.

In the UP - that's not very smart. Most folks make sure they own a truck, snowmobile or 4 wheeler LONG before a bike

Actually you would be amazed. I had heated grips on my Yamaha Phazer - I could ride without gloves if I wanted to. Remember that Wings have heated grips and seats
