Default Riding in the rain!!!!!

Well this morning was my first riding experience in a rain storm. I figured what the hell 50 degrees, rain, no big deal. I wanted to try out the so called waterproof feature of my new jacket anyways. I have no rain gear. The best ride I have had yet!!!! Yeah my crotch is completely soaked through the bibs
I had on but it will dry. 45 mins of rainy riding is exhilerating! anybody who hasn't done it, and thinks they can keep out of the throttle, should try it.
I can still smell the earthworms. The Fieldshier jacket did well in case anybody was wondering. And th 60 degree and sunny ride home will make it all that much more rewarding. The rain kinda tones out all the other highway noises. It was very peaceful. Any suggestions for rain/glare deflection on helmets, rain-ex maybe???

Ahhh the smell of earthworms and a wet crotch. What could be better? The rain can be fun every once in awhile.

My Fieldsheer jacket was water proof when I first got it, but after 3 years I might as well be wearing a T-shirt.

I rainX my shield - works great.

You think that was fun - wait until the first time you hydroplane... that'll tighten your o-ring in a hurry.

Riding in the rain is great to get used to tire slippage...is that a word?

I think slippage is a word? Slip is a word and I think you can add age to anything to make the word sound more technical.LOL Never did hydroplane luckily. I bought a less
agressive street tire and more all weather if you want to call it that. Lots of water channels. How does the knobby handle the rain on your 250 deej? I had a teacher that had one of those BMW cross terrain type bikes and he said it did supprisingly well.
