i can see what your saying but the system can be abused. mods should have more corective power is the answer.
+1. I think we've lost more people due to one bad apple than we ever could have by the rep system. I think of the rep system more of a "the tribe has spoken". There are (or can be) controls in place to keep it from being abused for the most part.
The problem is, we have one person here who is totally over the top with his insults and derogatory comments. I don't consider that a valid expression of his opinion when good people leave because of it. We lost Marty, one of the primary contributors to the KLX forum. Also Mooredan. And there are a dozen others that don't contribute much any more and they have stated that the insults and ridicule from IG is the reason. I see the rep system as one tool to help with that which was not available before. Not everyone is as thick skinned as some are.
Just my opinion, of course.

Its awesome now, we have so many options now its not even funny. I think I understand what you are saying Hoe, too many people could cause problems if they wanted to.
I nominate the following 3 members to become mods.

Because he is a stand up member that keeps his cool at all times, (even more than I do)

For the same reasons, and you don't have to own a kawi product to be a great contributor on this site, and he has proven that hundreds of times.
EMS (Eric) What a great member, he always contributes and welcomes new members making everyone feel like this place is really a home. Cool and mature as well.
You guys and most of the members on this site make it a great place to be whether you ride or not, and whether you have a Kawi or not. Its just plain and simple where I want to be.
