Actually, I have a feeling that they may not be teammates after this year. If the team were smart, they would have a clause in there along the lines of not being able to "cause harm/jeapoardy to the best interests of the team", yadda yadda.
That was just a plain out stupid move... Hayden already had that corner sliced as thin as possible, and if you look really close at the replays - the reason Pedrosa lost it was because the plastic hit the rumble strip and LIFTED the bike just enough to break traction. Yes - he slide the bike on the plastic over the blue/white warning burm, which is humped and rounded. He had ABSOLUTELY no business cutting the turn that bloody deep - even if he was in the running, or if it was against someone else entirely.
If it were not a teammate, I would be willing to bet a paycheck that he would get fined and suspended for intentionally taking out a competitor.
I believe the only way that Hayden can win the title now is if he wins the next race, and Rosi finishes no better than 4th... but my math might be off.
