Question About K and N Air Filters

Default Question About K and N Air Filters

Hey Guys,


Just wondering about the K and N Air Filters are they a big step up from the stock filter, because i will be changing the filter soon and wanted to no is it a difference or should I say can you notice the difference any responses are helpful thanx.

A K&N can give you an increase in hp and throttle response. But the more air you suck in, the more air you need to get rid of. Also, the more air you bring into the motor, the leaner it will run. The factory filter will filter better than the K&N or the BMC will. So in my opinion, unless you are going to run an exhaust and a programmer, I would stay with the factory filter. JMO tho.......

interesting i wouldve thought the opposite. your talking about the kn drop in right?

Well I justtalked to my mechanic and he said the same thing u said bug rig and he also said that it would be wise to just stay with the orig.

You no its just that when it comes to fiters u here so many stories and so many different thing about them.
