Default Putting KawiKathy To Work

KC (KawiKathy) wanted to go climbing today so I told her I needed to put in a bunch of bolts in at the top of a new beginner climbing spot for the school (Arizona Climbing and Adventure School) and she was welcome to join.

So there she is drilling 3/8" X 4" holes in granite (which makes concrete seem like butter) and placing stainless steel expansion bolts in. My nice DeWalt hammer drill was busted so we used the 1/2" drill (totally underpowered - ate up 6 batteries in an hour) instead. Then I got her to sweep all the loose granite shards off the face after hammering away all the loose granite flakes and "rotten" rock. I did let her climb the route when she was done though - I'm such a nice guy! Whew, I'm beat after taking all those pictures - time for a beer!
