The Pelican Company is top notch in my book
On one of my last rides I noticed that one of the latches broke on my case. And really I think it was because sometimes I pack stuff a little high so that the lid keeps it from rattling in there. You know the usual stuff, 5 lbs of tools, my 2-22oz MSR bottles, or whatever. I, usually depending on the ride, fold some cleaning rags (big surprise huh?) into the case to make sure stuff won't bounce. After all I am on some rough gravel, and trails all the time.
So Last week I sent Pelican an e-mail asking them if there was a way to get a replacement snap latch for my 1200 case that I have had on my bike for 3 years. I told them that one of the latches broke and that the other one was getting worn as well. Well today I was wondering if anyone even got my e-mail, and in fact really I thought that I wasn't going to hear back from them at all, and really that was ok, even though the cases have a lifetime warranty.
So what do I find in the mailbox when I got home?
So there you have it, a good company, taking care of its customers. And "that's all I got to say about that."
