OK, look; I'm old enough to be a father to most of you. Spare me the lecture; I'm not an idiot. I've done this maybe twice in my life, on a flat country road I've known all my life. I'm not exactly advocating doing this on the interstate at rush hour. I agree; if you want to make a habit of this, save it for the track^. For the Burt Munroe's like me, make sure your bike is absolutely 100% and gear-up. The sound of a wailing in-line 4 will carry for miles. Don't be stupid. If you get busted, don't make a stupid situation ignorant by trying to outrun. I don't recommend this for rookies, but I'm not going to posture and lie about it, either. Nothing "wussie" about closing in on 200mph; I don't care how old you are or what surface you're on.

When I was in Germany I pushed the Kawi till the cluster starting lighting up like a Christmas tree...of course it was legal there... ...country roads hell no...the country roads always had some sort of animal or tractor on it...I'd rather get on the highway and bust loose than on a country road...
