If you are moving to California from another state, you may register a new federally certified vehicle in California if it was first registered by you in your home state, or for military personnel, in your last state of military service. When applying for vehicle registration in California, you must provide evidence of your vehicle’s previous registration and that you were a resident of the other state when you acquired the vehicle.

I did that....the chick at the window told me to put 7500 miles on the bike and save myself the hassle...LOL....Brian called them on the phone and they told him the SAME thing!

can't get it in Brians name....it states that you had to be living in the state and he wasn't stationed in Arkansas...so they wouldn't let him register it either.

Man i can't think of anything else other then take the smog stuff off mine and put it on yours. The only other thing i can think of would be highly illegal and should not be done (swap the speedo with some one elses ninja with higher millage).
