have to check this out, i am planning a trip soon so i got this program to see where it would be fun to ride or not. kin of cool actually

the first pic is of a ride this last thurs with some friends
the second and third are pics of the new program showing the road in and out of the mountain (keep in mind the road starts at 4800 ft and top of mountian is 8060 ft.)

i know it isnt that much of a climb but it is only 30 min from home and the speed limit throughout this whole road is 65 mph (corners are marked 20mph, but we cant go that slow)

cheif josoeph highway (sunlight basin) just out side of yellowsone about 30-45 min from redlodge montana

 

what program is that? I would like to use it to map a local road here.

 

google earth, just go to google and search for that, it is a free download but it is like 20 mb

 

I can't download programs on my work laptop. Oh well.

that road does look like fun. i need to find some where around me that has some good twisties to hit and finaly get the rest of my chicken strips of the tires.

 

yeah when we wnt on our ride i was pulling rubber off the side of the back. i love going up there

 

Looks like a lot of fun. I am looking forward to riding that road as soon as the Beartooth Pass opens up
