I'm not sure what they're called. I think they're called Cabby Caps, but I could be wrong, and yes... it's leather.

Looks like southern Arizona! Only thing missing is all the illegal aliens! Don't know if I really like the digital pixel camos - I have my bdu's from the early seventies and they still fit, well almost!

Yes, it's a Blackhawk. They had the door closed while flying, but the door had no glass in the windows (which are pretty large), so it was like the doors weren't even there. It was different when I was going on leave, because I was in a Chinhook. I haven't gotten to fly in a Little Bird or an Apache yet, but I'm hoping I do well on the test so I can be a pilot for one of the two birds.

The digi-pattern on the new ACU's works really well in urban environments, but doesn't do too much in any other area.

on another note, that pic you posted, prom, that's a great photo. i love seing women in a man's world. i've been in construction for almost 9 years now and had my own business doing roofing for 3. that's awesome. grats to her.
