New GM trucks.

RE: New GM trucks.
That's OK, when I was a kid and my mom married my step dad, he had a new 72 Chevy 4X4 Custom Camper Special, I loved that truck and after he passed away I ended up with it in 1989 after my brother blew up the engine. I rebuilt it and kept it for a few years, but a divorce forced me to sell it to pay for an attorney.[:@] then the guy that bought it actually sold it back to my brother in California, and I think he still has it. I loved my step dad almost as much as I loved that truck. How often does that happen? He taught me the Electrical trade of which I will be forever grateful. He passed away in 1985, I only knew him for about 12 years, but I consider him my dad since I never met mine. The 72 was my favorite year and still is, Hey remember this photo? I took it on the way to Longview a few weeks back. I would love to have this truck. I start thinking about when I was 12 and we all would ride around in the truck hitting the 4X4 roads and exploring the mountains and listening to John Denver on the 8 track...........dang it I did it again...I gotta go.....

I've gotta say, I think GM will have more financial problems if they do reintroduce the Camaro and/or Firebird. It's not that I don't like the look of the cars, (because I think the new designs are freakin' sweet!) It's that things have changed here in the past decade. People are not buying those types of cars anymore. At least not enough to sustain a good profit margin. Sure the new Camaro will sell like crazy the first year or two, but that's just the die-hard fans buying them up. Everyone else has already gone the way of the sportcompact. The big three need to quit thinking back to the past for inspiration on their new vehicles if they want to survive the imports.

Went to the California car show with my bro & friends. Way cool. I heart the new Silverado. I sell Honda cars (& trucks!) and I still really like the Silverado... I think next year will be a good time to ditch the Ridgeline and get something with an extended cab (I swear I hate quad cabs so much, **** having people back there!). Also some cool selections:
-The new Dodge Challenger (frikkin SWEEEEEET, I want to bolt the doors shut and jump in and out of it like the Dukes!)
-Screw the Saturn Sky, there's no challenge on the market for those, they suck *****.
-Heart heart heart the Silverado and GMC version too (f*ck the GMC price tag)
-Did I mention the Silvy?
-Snoop Dog's collection of fine *** cars.
-New Honda Element SC (it's cool, wouldn't buy one cause I want a real truck)

Those are some big long stretches of flat panels on the sides of those trucks...
Look like an excellent dent magnet
I like my 92 GMC for looks. Still sharp to me.
