As many of you know, ever since I got to the Middle East, it has been my quest to catch either a scorpion, or a camel spider. Last night, I completed my mission. It turns out, the day I finally stopped looking for one, it came right into my room. He was chilling out on my roomates bed. I've got him in a tupperware bowl with some holes poked in the top. I got some pictures of him, and I will post them up tomorrow!

That little sucker is aggressive. He attacked the toothpick that I was prodding his legs with, and when he did, he moved so fast that it scared the hell out of me, dispite the fact that he was secured in his little prison with the lid on.

 

Surprise, surpirse, surprise.

I caught a camel spider. So I guess now I live up to my PWI name.

 

sweet. how does it attack? does it bite like a spider or does it have some sort of stinger?
