Default My first bike.

Some of you may have heard about me and my first bike back in like 1980, it was a 1974 Hodaka Combat Wombat 125 dual sport (enduro as they were called back in the day) Well last week I was down visiting my mom and she found some old pictures and ran across this. I never even knew I had a picture anywhere. I always referenced that bike by using a picture on the net as an example. Now I have the actual bike picture. Man that takes me back. I loved that thing.

Not too long after getting it, I stopped by a small motorcycle shop on my way to work. The owner said he could port it and take it out to 208cc...what a difference! Street legal and faster than some larger bikes

A friend of mine with a 1973 Yammy SC500 took his cylinder to the same guy-after he'd spent hours smoothing and polishing the intake passageway, and when he got it back the shop owner had roughed it all up! haha

Default Suzuki GT380

This is what mine looked like. I need to dig through some albums and see if I can find an actual photo. Mid 1970's Suzuki GT380.

Wow...those are ALL great bikes. Keep the memories and pics coming guys!!
My very first "bike" was a Harley Shortster. 65cc of 2-stroke fun that would eat (my friend's) Honda 70 for a snack. I remember turning around on the road..at the end of my driveway....and a State Trooper wrote my dad a ticket, had to go to court, was fined $200 (a LOT of money back then!!) Dad thought the whole thing was pretty outrageous...

Some great looking bikes in here.

The Ninja 250 was my first bike. I got it when I was 18 or 19, which would probably make it a '87 to '89 model year.

I also have to include my second bike, a CBR 600, which I got in my early 20's. I think it was a '92-'93. I loved this bike and got a LOT of speeding tickets on it.
