Default My dog is gone....

So yesterday my dog loses his mind and decided to bite my 5 year-old on the face. She has 10 stitches in her ear, and two in her face. I love that stupid dog, but when a dog turns on a little girl (or any person) who has been his best buddy for 4 years, there is only one option IMHO. What would you guys have done with the dog?

BTW she was not torturing him or anything, he just wanted some table scraps she was throwing away, because he has never been able to eat people food. She wouldn't let him have the food, and when she put it in the trash, he bit her face. I fed him a few hours before when I went to work, so he was not hungry.

I am so done with owning pets...

Oh man......that is so sad on more than one level. I love animals, and what happened to your little girl is tragic. I don't know what I would do. What kind of dog is it? I hope your daughter heals quick. I just don't now what to say to this one. Brutal man. Sorry.

He WAS a yellow lab. Very uncharacteristic for the breed, and for him. But it only takes once, a dog is a dog, he couldn't come back from that IMHO...

Sorry about that ZZ, but I don't blame you a bit. Safety of the children come first!
