The nice thing about the cub cadets is they are the garden tractors that use an automotive style clutch ,no belts to slip and we have the optional creeper gear

We have two 1961's two 1963's one 1964,two 1967's.the one in the pic is a 1963 with a 12hp kohler.The head has been shaved,it's ported and polished,runs an 18hp cam and carb that is rebuilt for methanol.The decals on the puller say 7hp and people just stare and ask stupid questions of how can a 7hp pull so muchSo much for stock motors only huh Our club has no cheaters and it's only cheatin if you get caught

Nice Cub Cadet, ad I see you got wheelie bars on it, that is also good. I have a 12 year old Cub Cadet here at work, but after all that time and really only about 2000 hours we decided to give the old girl a break and we picked up a 61 inch eXmark zero turn mower. I can now do in 45 minutes what used to take 2 and a half hours.

A guy at work builds 1/10 scale tractor pullers that pull something like700+ pounds with a .12 nitro engine. He showed me some videos which were kind of boring, but it's amazing how much weight they can pull.
