You remember Christmas 04? I was driving home from ND around the 21st and my car breaks down at midnight just outside council bluffs Iowa, My bro drives 11 hours with a trailer to pick me up, on the way back an ice storm hitsand I-40 from fort smith was a solid sheet of ice about 1 1/2 inches thick. Only made it about 10 miles before we get stuck because of a wreck 2-3miles up the road. and once the wreck was cleared the 2-3 miles of truckers in front of us were asleep so we were stuck there for like 3 hours before we decided to drag my car through the snow in the ditch to get around everyone and get off the freeway. Many adventures ensued on the backwoods ice covered hick roads of rural Arkansas. But in short the 17 hour trip turned into 3-4 days in a truck. But we made it home in time for dinner on Christmas Eve.
