Minimum wage reached $5.85 this year, $6.55 next year, and $7.25 in 2009. Which means everything will cost more, even at Wal-Mart, because they'll be spending a lot more, or firing people. I'll stick with my free 33" Toshiba CRT for a while longer. It has a good picture, and it's a good improvement from my old 13" I had in my room a year and a half ago, which upgraded to a 20", then a free 1981 25" XBR, and now this. Working at an appliance store has its benefits every once in a while.

If you ever buy a flat panel, do not go to Wal-Mart. Makes the LG look good. Sure, they have Samsung, blah blah. None of their model numbers match ours. When the LN-S series came out last year, Wal-Mart had the older style, and now that the LN-Ts are out, Wal-Mart's LN-Ts look like the old LN-S line. Check for yourself.

You should see how much min wage is in CA. its at 8 bucks right now, but if you work in the city some area have their own min wage set at 12ish an hour. The avg home price in san jose is 850,000.00. Its funny only 7% of the people in CA are able to offord the homes they live in.
