Like Hoedogg said I would rather sweat then bleed. When I come back from rides when its in the 90's it looks like I just steped out of the shower while wearing my shirt.

I always look like a bench racer while on the streets. Tried a leather jacket and jeans for a 18 mile trip to the shop. Definitely felt naked. That will not happen again. Still wear my full leathers.

dam I understand that, took a ride without my sidi boots and all I could think of was the trauma my ankles would suffer if I went down [:'(]

some previous posts got me thinking about this - obviously what we put on while riding very much depends on the weather, but lets say the temperature is in high 80's or low 90's (around 30 deg Celsius) - what do you guys do? Safety or comfort first?
Looking out the window right now - will be riding this afternoon and I can tell I will suffer, lol. Always wear my gear thou, the idea of scraping tarmac having nothing but T-shirt on isn't very appealing [:'(].

Bought it, love it.

I have full leathers but I don’t ware them on the klx, I think I look funny. If I had a sport bike I would use them again.[sm=smiley20.gif]

ok-ok ... mesh jacket w/ or w/o liner . . . [:'(] sometimes I ride with just shirt- it's not a great idea- and do not condone it- but we all take some risk in what we do.

If it's too hot for gear, it's too hot to ride.

I always gear up. In the hot, hot S.W. Florida summer, I wear a mesh A* jacket.
