Even though Kawi has been out of the snowmobile game since 1982, my factory race Kawi riding gear (and an extra layer) was plenty enough to use for a few days of snowmobiling while visiting my dad I got a few questions and interesting looks from other sleds out on the trails. Just under 600 miles in 2 days back and forth across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan






But then I ran out of supplies, and they had to send a chopper...

my first sled was an old Kawi Intruder. Pretty nice actually.

Yeah, but all those miles can make you feel like you took a beating when you haven't ridden since last winter

Yes, Panther 660 triple, 4 stroke. Does pretty good on gas actually, and has a big tank.

 

oh, its a 4-stroke.. those kickass on gas, the 2's eat it.

 

Yeah, it isn't quite as fast, but plenty fast for cruising on trails and breaking a little bit of fresh powder. Spins the track, and will hang the *** end out on demand. Good enough for me
