i store mine in my garage so it's out of the wheather and safe. my buddie tried to keep his at his apartment under a carport and sum scumbaggs tried to steal it and screwed up his ignition. then he started keeping it at my house where it was safe. another freind of mine also keeps his at my house because of that reason, so there is always a bike in my garage, but there not all mine[>:]which sux because im in between bikes right now and i have to stare at their bikes when imin there
i sorta run a foster home for bikes you could say....lol. i have scorpio alarm for mine for when im out and about. thats good protection right there.

I live in an apartment complex. I keep my bike parked beside my car. Ive got a disk lock and bike cover on it. I do worry about it getting messed with and all. I need to get an alarm. Luckly theres a guy with a new 600RR that parks a few spots away from me with no lock. So maybe they would go after that bike frist its newer and easyier to get to. Its a _itch and a half to get my bike out if my car is parked next to it.
In a garage: Sorry had to be a smart azz
If your bike is stored outside like at an apartment complex it is a target, only a matter of time before she gets raped! If you have to go that way then take all the precautions, alarm, chain or cable, a cover is good and adds concealment, anything you can do to make it harder to steal, thieves are lazy and are likely to pass her by if there is effort involved. Oh yea and a shotgun is nice too

when living at an apt. I made sure to get a ground level one. My rides were then placed in my kitchen. But things have changed some from the old days.
I'm in a complex, but I rent one of their garages. It's not very big, but there is electricity. There's no way on earth I would store my bikes outside. (Too paranoid I guess)
