Good point Deej. My company is a major global construction company and our help desk is in New Delhi. Most of the time I cant understand one friggin thing they are saying to me. Normally I hang up and keep calling until I get one that can speak clearly.
They are very polite intelligent people but are hard to understand at times. I am thinking about taking courses on how to speak indian just so I can get my computor fixed?????????

I used to for a large computer company as tech support and then as a manager, we had off coast call centers and while monitoring the calls of my agents I noticed the Indian agent who was consulting with one of my agents kept putting my agent on hold. when I emailed the Indians manager and asked "Why is <blank> putting my agent on hold so often?" He responded "ohh you know she's talking with the girl next to her." [sm=bangbang.gif] Needless to say that manager had a SERIOUS conversation with my direct supervisor on the topic of "agent responsibility"
