Default An idea.

Was thinking today.
Say youre at work from 9-5 and its pouring rain all day.
and you go out to ride home and your seat is soaked.
climb on your *** gets soaked.
so my idea: a removable neoprene or some other water resistant cover for your bike. that way you can take it off and put it in your backpack or something and ride home

thoughts?

or just grab a napkin or a towel on the way out and wipe the seat down before sitting on it.

Most folks round here put a plastic bag over their seat and remove it when it's time to ride.

Don't you hate when good ideas are already taken?

I usually carry an old skull tshirt with my bike and throw on the seat....not so much for rain, but the 110 degree sun beating down on my seat in the summer is hard on the leather.

I carry a chamoise to dry it off - and if it's raining you're wearing waterproofs anyway, aren't you?

Wear your leathers. A simple wet seat will not bother you.

Just stand up on the pegs, and rip to about 150 when you first take off. Then your seat will be dry!
