And I thought it was in pretty good shape! Guess I have some work to do - need more time for longer rides! I am so addicted its not funny. As for the goose, I probably had one of those WTF looks! I was really surprised that it did that to me, at least I stopped for them!

Good thing though, weather forecast says its gonna be real nice this weekend!!! This time I'll try to remember the camera so I can put up some pics (would've taken it with me on Sunday, but the batteries were dead - they're all charged up now!)

 

Heh.. Very nice... I still say you should've honked back! I was out on my pedal bike this weekend and came across a family of geese crossing the road... Big one in front and back, and two little ones movin along in the middle. Holding up all sorts of traffic on the road. It was great.

This saturday I'll be headed up to Mt. Ranier w/my local bike club. It's about 300miles roundtrip from Seattle, and I'm about 25 miles north of Seattle. I'll definately bring the good camera this time. Even thinking about stuffing the the video camera in the tankbag if weather permits... Hmm...

 

I promise.......next time a goose is in the middle of the road - I'll honk at it! It'll probably attack me or something - knowing my luck

Your not out of shape until you ride a trail with creek crossings, 16 inch logs to get over and trees to go around, I was tired at the end of the day, of course when you take a 20 year vacation from off-roading you get what you deserve.

 

Oh man... Roots like that can be tough... and I've only ever done it on a mtn bike, let alone a heavier moto... Looks like a blast though!
