I laid my bike down.
things could have been alot worse. and that is what it seemed like to me. it seemed like everyone i talked has seemingly gone down once. so if this is my once im glad it was at 15 mph and not 70 on the interstate or something. so everything is ordered I am ok. I played rugby the next day so nothin was broken. I just had my arms all wrapped up lookin like a dumbass. but I am ok other then alittle rash on my arms. it could have been alot worse.
its cool man i went down right by my work. now everytime i ride i feel like im goin to fall. im so paranoid. its like i can't ride like i want to i feel so restricted. i just feel like that back tire is goin to go out on me again.
Very glad that you are ok....luckily its cosmetic damage...but I say better to have damage on the bike than damage on you![&:] Sorry your bike got messed up. Hella glad my buddy is (mostly) in one piece!
You have aquired Top Gun Syndrome... you're having problems re-engaging. That's okay. If there's anything I've learned from watching movies, it's that TGS is always overcome in the end!
haha ill support ya. well then doc im gettin new tires today will that help treat TGS. im thinkin it does. i hope so i just feel like the back tire is just gonna come out. im gettin the metzler m3 tire so hopefully that makes me feel alittle more comfortable.
Good. That's something I was worried about. A lot of people quit riding after the first time they go down. I thought my wife was going to, because she broke her hand. It turns out the only thing she was pissed about was that she couldn't squeeze the clutch with her hand in the cast.
no i got up and rode the bike home. i even rode some that night. and ive been ridin it since to and from work. its just everytime i go into a turn i feel like its goin to go down. cause last time the back tire came out so easily i worried itll do it again. so ive been able to fly just not engage = TGS haha. but hopefully the new tires will cure that problem
