according to webster and Wikipedia it is i think this is so strange, when i have kids, and they open up a dictionary (assuming they will have actual books in school) the first word under "T" will be T9, i dont know if this is right. but its still news, here is a link >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T9_%28predictive_text%29
