While going down the interstate today doing 65mph on my motorcycleI hit a lovely hail storm tha produced marble size hail and larger. I just happened to be wearing my mesh riding jacket and I had the pleasure of riding this way for about five miles with no place to go for shelter. If you haven't tried it yet you are missing out.

Hail plus bike equals a really good time!

Well the speed limit is 75 and alot of people drive 80 plus. So since hail hurts less than dieing I decided to go65. I actually have bruising on my arms, if I had my leather jacket on I would of proabably been allright.

 

good point with the speed, but id of still ducked behind the start/end of a guard rail and waited it out after a minute or two.

 

Ouch...just reading the tittle i knew it was about pain, but bruising? really....ouch!

 

The good part is I caught the edge of the storm. When I got to my house it looked like snow in spots because it had hailed so much. And even though I was doing about 65 I couldn't believe it when a couple of trucks still went by me.
