you could probably store it for that long with no probs, collectable cars sit in showrooms for years and can still run. I just wouldnt want to make the payments on it while i couldnt ride, plus your R&R is going to go by quick, and you may have a hard time finding the time to shop and do the paperwork. Lastly I would be concerned about security during storage, dunno where you plan on storing it, but if people start to mess with it its going to be a long trip to run out and"take care" of the problem [sm=shootshoot.gif]

 

The wifey won't ride a sport bike. She's afraid of them.

 

you can ride sport bikes just as slow as any other, just gotta watch that wrist.

 

She's scared because the last time she tried riding one, she almost put a new door in her friend's house. As far as the payments go, I'd rather start on the payments while I'm over here and have the added combat pay and family seperation pay to help offset them.
