I had the backlight mod done on my tach/speedo ........ITS AWESOME , while I had my bike parked I decided to try a little modification on the seat

 

I've been thinking of doing something with mine too, after the 7 hours of riding a few weekends ago my *** was hurting. Its hard to find any aftermarket seats for cheap...so they probably work well, but I dont want to spend the cash. Did the original cover fit back on after adding the foam?

 

The tach/speedo mod looked cool when you had the pic up...everything came back OK?

 

yep ,I got this idea from sup_uni .He modified his with a memeory foam pillow from walmart .I think he replaced the whole foam piece ,I just cut a 1 inch layer from a pillow and formed it to the seat a little and put the cover back on and restapled it .I'll let ya know how it works out .

as far vas the seat cover goes , it had quite a bit of ' stretch ' to it . No problems ..............yet
