I just changed my oil and gave the chain a good cleaning yesterday. I need to get the bike ready for my long ride saturday. Only down side is pilot powers were not ment to used for 700ish mile trips. [:'(]

yeah why not....I have been that far on mine a couple times

 

They will take the trip just fine. What I ment by that is pilot powers only last for about 4-5k miles before the rear needs to be replaced. So that trip is almost 1/4 of the tires life in one day [:'(]

 

I dunno I have had my pilot powers foralmost a year and I put at least 10,000 miles on them and they still got meat. And I burnout out at the track hmmm that is curious because my last set I changed around 6K...Maybe I got a really good one,lol

 

My last one lasted me just a tad over 5k miles.

 

I've had friends who only got just over 3k miles on them.

 

Cool. I may have to ask you for some pointers here and there.
