the Honda is a straight up race bike...it is more comfortable on the track than on the street...the Kawi is a more comfortable ride for long distances and around the area...the Kawi is lighter but not as responsive...I put a 280 pound rider on the Honda and it still threw him back like a rag doll...the kawi is still my favorite...the Honda is like that wild mustang you try tame and just hang on...I'm getting ready to add some more HP to the Honda this winter

hmm, that is sometimes harder to ride on the track too. Fun but self control and using the throttle control gets more trickier...lol sounds like an awesome ride. The honda 600 that is. lol

it is...thought about the 1/4 turn throttle mod and decided not to...more aggressive seating as well...getting a corbin to soften the ride...

Give them a shot. I have read some good street stories on the avons, just not this model yet. They are all in the same price range of street tires it appears. The pirelli SC pro is another $100 though and worked on the track well.

I will take the wheels down to sport tour and get some new shoes for him tomorrow. I may try the avons out. I have heard good things also.
