They send me cheek padding and the top padding as well.

The helmet is a large (I don't know WHAT I was thinking but it fit when I tried it on..) I took out all of the padding and replaced it with what they sent me. The cheek padding of the large is firm and the medium is soft. Same size and all, that's pretty much the only difference I can tell. Yes, the medium tag has an 'M' and the large has an 'L'.
