Anyone out there or is it bike night

 

Boo to rain.

After I had gotten home [8am] and slept for a little while [from 10-3] - it started raining soon after. Had been thundering/lightning for a while beforehand, but I still wanted to ride. I was told I should wait until I got a new front tire because mine is a little dry rotted :[

It'll be this Friday before I can get a new tire. This sucks.

 

a new tire is a great idea...I've seen more bikes go down due to bad tires...any progress on the paint or turn signals???

 

Of the stickers off but I've been pretty busy so there hasn't been a ton of progress. Some is better than none though-definitely. It's looking kind of strange because where there was a sticker that had been primed, there is now just purple where the sticker has been peeled off.

Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be nicer and I can do more with it. It may be a good thing that I'm not riding this week so I can work on the cosmetics of the bike.

 

focus on the safety aspects and then worry about the cosmetics of it...the rain will go away eventually...it's been stormin' for almost 3 weeks straight here!!!

 

Oh, and one of the back blinkers were given to me broken and one of the side ones is just...missing. I don't know where it it. I'm going to order new blinkers all around for it sometime...


I really think it's gonna look nice :]

 

Yeah, I was worried when he told me the tire may not last too long so I'm just gonna let it stay put until I get the new one.

That sucks about the storms.. I hope it clears up soon for you!
