anybody familiar with southern oregon? I was looking around for inexpensive land in the washington/oregon/idaho area I'd like to have atleast an acre i can pay off right away then put in a well, septic, and solar/wind power on so if things go south in MD i can move to a place with no "rent" will all my food stores.
or if i get tired of it here i'd need to make enough money to pay the essentials of life like food and gas and insurance.
anybody? beuller?

summarize. anybody know where i can get cheap land and still make money?
contemplating moving somewhere where i can be free of a mortgage and free of DC politics. prefferably a very pro-2a state where my CCW is valid.
i really want enough land to be able to grow most of my own food, use solar and wind power to stay off the grid
