i just canceled my direct tv service because i am moving and get this the a$$hole at the customer retention department was a rude dick head and was not letting me cancel....i asked to speak to some one else and he hung up on me....what a dick....

 

He was probably answering phones behind bars. Sheesh. I also hear a rumor that Dish and Direct TV are one and the same company, and if that's true, then we have no leverage to threaten them with switching anymore.

 

Yeah, I am about ready to go back to an antenna. Sometimes free versus $79 per month sounds real good.

 

If I lived in "the city" and could pick up 4 of the major networks I would trash my dish. I'm all about the free. But alas I live in the sticks and have to settle for what is available. :
