just bargaining and hagling and price hunting for my sunroom. picking up the doors to fill al lthe walls with glass tomorrow for 750$ (30 linear feet of glass), getting a wood fireplace for 200$ shipped, a few add ons for it like glass doors and a blower for like 20$ a pop.

my friend's mom in iowa has one these :



it is a corn burner, this was supper cool easy to turn on but the only problem is that it always need electrictiy.

 

the corn pellet dual fuel stoves are cool - very efficient and very cheap to fuel. but no this is just a fireplace to burn wood in from time to time. for heatign the house i installed radiant floor heating. the fireplace is going out in the sunroom i'm framing up this week. the sunroom is sealled off from the house by a patio door so it doesn't need to be heated or cooled, but i enjoy a real fire from time to time so i figured i would put a fireplace out there to burn the cut up trees i have (live int he woods and every time a tree falls i have to chop it up and stack it)
